Doodyman is a proud supporter of the 34.3 Foundation, an organization dedicated to honoring the 343 FDNY firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The foundation was inspired by FDNY firefighter and running enthusiast Etan Blatt. On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Blatt embarked on a 34.3-mile run from his hometown in Long Beach, NY, to the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero. Each mile symbolized one of the 343 fallen firefighters. This initiative led to the establishment of the 34.3 Foundation, turning "Miles into Memories."
Doodyman actively supports the 34.3 Foundation by participating in events and providing logistical assistance. This includes transporting bicycles and equipment for participants in the annual FDNY 343 Ride, a cycling event organized to honor the fallen firefighters and raise funds for injured veterans.
